RIG is a privately owned company. Our shareholders and directors are all from the recruitment and corporate finance sectors. Individually we have each grown companies from start-ups to market leaders, and realised their value through IPO's and trade sales. People
Peter Flaherty, Chairman, Recruitment Investment Group Peter has over 20 years experience in the recruitment industry, managing start up and growth businesses. He was Managing Director and a major shareholder in MSB International Plc from 1991 to April 2001, growing it from a turnover of £4 million to £200 million and a stock market capitalisation of £210 million.
Peter is a past chairman of the Association of Technology Staffing Companies (ATSCo), the trade association for the IT recruitment sector which he co-founded with Bryan Lloyd. He is also Chairman of Keyman Personnel, a family business specialising in the recruitment of professional staff to the construction industry, which he founded in 1978. A Chartered Civil Engineer by profession, his earlier career was in the construction industry.
Bryan Lloyd, Chief Executive, Recruitment Investment Group Bryan has over 15 years experience in the staffing industry. Prior to forming RIG he was CEO of Spring IT Personnel, the European CEO of Manpower IT, Manpower Technical Europe and is a former MD Butler International Inc. Before entering the recruitment industry Bryan was with Xerox, as a UK sales director and a European Vice President of Marketing. An influential figure in the recruitment industry he is a co-founder of the Association of Technology Staffing Companies (ATSCo).
Stuart Goldup ACMA, Finance Director
Since 1996 Stuart has held the position of CFO within privately owned SME companies and is experienced in venture capital backed management buy outs and exits. His career to date has been characterised by maintaining excellent relationships with banks, venture capitalists and other stakeholders supporting the Boards of College of Railway Technology Limited (a specialist engineering training college) and Future Video Services Limited (a video duplicator) in which he has played key roles. Stuart has been responsible for leading the development, from start-up, of the robust back-office financial controls, procedures and processes which have underpinned the success of these businesses through significant change management programmes.
Graham Cole, Director, Recruitment Investment Group As corporate finance director for investment bank Beeson Gregory, Graham specialised in advising growth companies on public offerings, capital raising and mergers and acquisitions strategy. He has been involved in over 60 public flotations, including several in the recruitment sector. In 2002 he was the recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award for Services to the mid-cap public company markets, and is only the third recipient in 15 years. Before joining Beeson Gregory he was National and European Flotations Partner at Deloitte Haskins & Sells (subsequently Coopers & Lybrand). He was also co-founder and member of the executive committee of CISCO (City Group for Smaller Companies) now the Quoted Companies Alliance, which was set up to promote the interest and visibility of quoted companies with a market capitalisation of less than £1 billion. Graham is also Chairman of Stagecoach Theatre Arts PLC and a non-executive director of Claims People PLC, Vantis PLC and Northamber PLC. |
